I have taken Gabapentin for several years and experience zero side effects. My dosage is 300 MG as needed whenever I experience severe needle-like itching on one or both arms. My itching typically vanishes within 20 minutes after taking one 300 MG capsule. However, Gabapentin is not my first choice as I typically use an ice pack on the effected area first and only take Gabapentin if the ice pack is ineffective.
